Why I created Vitality Pills

My journey with iron deficiency

I had been a vegetarian for around 15 years when my health started to decline. I was really tired all the time and had symptoms of low iron like dizziness and being breathless.

I tried many different iron supplements, hoping something would help.

People often told me, “you should eat meat,” but at the time I didn’t want to hear it.

Still, I knew I needed to do something different if I wanted to feel well again.

Discovering the benefits of chicken liver

Organic chicken liver is a nutrient-dense whole food that naturally contains heme iron, vitamin B12, folate, zinc and other supportive nutrients traditionally valued for energy and nourishment.

While I didn’t want to cook and eat liver regularly, I was curious to find a way to include it in my diet. I trained and learned how to safely prepare, dehydrate and encapsulate organic chicken liver into an easy-to-take form.

Taking these organic chicken liver capsules helped me raise my ferritin levels significantly and was genuinely life-changing. I still don’t eat red meat and haven’t for over 25 years. Many of my customers are vegetarian, vegan, or intolerant of red meat, and find these capsules provide an accessible way to benefit from heme iron.
